We are Officially Multiply

Today, June 3rd, 2009. DATE Green Ville 1 officially multiplied. We have a new DATE with Yoel Lewi as a DATE Leader. Our new DATE will be DATE Green Garden 8. We hope we could find a new place not in Green Garden anymore coz it's too much already up to 8. Looking for a new secret place somewhere. Anyway here are some pictures to show our farewell or let's say celebration for a new DATE. Enjoy.

Yosep's Birthday

Today, is my birthday, I am getting older... wwwooooaaaaa... but I love my age, I am being mature, where I need more control on myself. I also having a birthday party today, all Green Ville 1 DATErs coming, only some of them who are missing, they are out of Jakarta for sure, but I really appreciate what they did, one of our friend called me from China, really early in the morning, and there are still plenty of SMS on my mobile, which I just couldn't imagine to reply 'em one by one, so I just put one message online says "Thank you for all of your SMS, I am just too lazy to reply it one by one, but thanks a lot." :D

Btw here are the pictures of the party tonight. It was fun, I love it so much coz everybody coming, this is my first time to see all DATErs of Green Ville 1 coming. Of course we don't forget to take snap shot of our group pictures... so my friends whose outside there, take a look of our collection and have fun there, one day you might have come to another birthday from one of us... So keep in touch and thanks for all your support in cheering my birthday!

Relationship Seminar by Ps. Casey Treat

Opening Verse : Mathew 22:36-39
How do we define a Successful Christian? God defines from the relationship. There is nothing in this life without relationship. Our relationship with God will defines our relationship with others. God wants our relationship / intimacy, not by what we do the "Religious" things.

What score we would give to our relationship?
Love our God with all we have... Our Heart, Our Spirit, Our soul, etc.

Many people don't feel peace, because they don't have a good relationship with God.
James 4:8 "Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded."

By getting closer with God, we will find wisdom, solution, way out, blessing, all good things.

Proverbs 6:16 talks about the 6 things God hate about. God hates all things that broke the relationship. In ministry, many people find difficulties in their relationship.

There is one big different between our relationship with God and our relationship with others. God is perfect, but to build relationship with human, we have to prepare a lot of forgiveness.

Proverb 18:1 - This phrase told us not to be lonely or to be alone, we need to open ourselves to others. also see 1 John 4:20.

Relationship with people will determine the depth of our spirituality.

John 13:12-15

When we build our relationship with others & with God, World will see us that we have a good relationship.

Let's Love God & Love People
The world doesn't know that you care until we interpret our care in our doing.
Love will change a lot of things!

Leadership Seminar by Ps. Casey Treat

There was a Seminar, Held in Upperroom Jakarta, it's about Leadership. Pastor Casey Treat gave us some example how to be an Extraordinary Leader.

There are 6 points that Extraordinary Leader Has:

1. Deal with the Negatives
2. To be Christ Center
3. Having an Authority of Christ
4. Great Joy
5. Put the Family as the first priority
6. Attract resources [e.g: Financial, blessing, prosperity, etc.]

How To Improve Your Punctuality?

Pernahkah terpikir oleh anda bahwa orang-orang yang pintar, berpendidikan dan memiliki wawasan yang luas masih saja mengalami kesulitan untuk tepat waktu? Apakah mungkin seseorang itu bisa terus menerus terlambat dalam setiap aktivitas kehidupannya?

Bagi orang-orang yang tidak pernah tepat waktu seumur hidupnya, keterlambatan itu bisa menjadi suatu hal yang konstan, dan itu merupakan kejutan yang merugikan orang lain. Kabar baiknya, kami akan memberikan tips untuk anda bagaimana menghilangkan kebiasaan buruk tersebut:

1. Time Management

Aturlah waktu anda sebaik mungkin!

Perkirakan berapa banyak waktu yang dibutuhkan sebelum melakukan aktivitas berikutnya. Pisahkan aktivitas yang dapat menghambat waktu anda; mana yang bisa dikerjakan dilain waktu dan mana yang bisa dikerjakan saat itu juga. Contohnya, kalo biasanya kamu pergi ke gereja, kamu harus perhitungkan berapa lama waktu yang kamu butuhkan untuk parkir mobil, naik lift, sampai dapat tempat duduk?

2. Where did The Time Go

Seringkali kita lebih melakukan aktivitas yang tidak penting sehingga banyak waktu yang seharusnya produktif menjadi sia-sia. Sebab itu pastikan anda melakukan hal yang penting terlebih dahulu seperti persiapan untuk berangkat, baru setelah itu melakukan kegiatan lain seperti nonton TV atau baca buku setelah anda siap.

3. Predicting Commute Time

Berusahalah untuk mengamati berapa lama waktu yang anda butuhkan untuk sampai ke suatu tempat. Kalau rutenya bukan rute yang biasa kamu lewati, berikan waktu lebih dari apa yang kamu pikirkan. Lalu jangan lupa lihat dulu keadaan cuaca, dan dengar traffic report.

4. Aim to be Early

Lebih baik anda datang lebih cepat dan menunggu, daripada membuat orang lain menunggu anda.

5. Make Punctuality a Priority

Alasan kenapa kita sering telat, mungkin karena kita tidak pernah menjadikan "tepat waktu" sebagai prioritas kita.

Remember! If you want to learn to appreciate people, tart by appreciating their time.

Farewell Ping-Ping

One of our friend will be away for several months (+/- 6 months) according to "his" word. Well, he never told us before, he just told us on his last DATE which is yesterday, 13 August 2008 [one day before this post being posted]. So we have no plan to make any party or surprise, so what we can do during the DATE was only praying for him and wish him a very good trip to Samarinda.
